Some clarifications regarding MOD (ISI)

1) physical standards ni htay is mai na e physical test hoga

2) age relaxation include kr k age limit di gae hai

3) aek fee pe 2 posts pe apply hoskta hai but subject to some conditions like groups bnay hoe hai sirf unhi groups mai se aek fee pe 2 pe apply hoskta hai

4) pehlay screening hoga then descriptive and then psychological test

2 -2.5 months tk test hoga

The MOD Ministry of Defense (ISI) Job process:

The total selection process takes 12 to 14 months (Including the test and registration)

Step 1: Registration

Step 2: Screening (MCQS) test

Step 3: Passed candidates will appear for the Descriptive test. 

Step 4: Psychometric test (Also known as psychological tests like those in ISSB)

Step 5: Passed candidates will be interviewed at designated stations.

Step 6: After interview security clearance begins, Firstly SVA forms (5 in number) are sent to candidates, those are to be filled and send within 15 days to MOD

The security clearance begins with personnel from agencies that will visit your home, call you, interview your close friends, relatives

step 7: Last but not the least, for those who qualify the standards of MOD, a Final medical letter is issued to them

Step 8: After medical joining orders are issued and training of 6 months at an undisclosed location begins

UDC/LDC descriptive test past paper held on 30 July 2021

Syllabus is very simple now. MOD has changed the exam pattern. Now the test consists of 100mcqs to be attempted in 1.5 hours. It has following pattern.

English Portion = 20 Marks

Subjective Test Total 8 Questions and Essay Time Allowed – 3 Hours Sometimes Separate Essay Paper may be conducted.

 Psychometric test Time – 1 to 1.5 Hour All Questions. Most hard step to qualify is the ministry of defence Psychometric test. MOD Psychometric test consisted of Story Writing, Maths, IQ and Personality Questions. I remember there was a booklet consisted of 8 portions and you have to solve questions in seconds. For Psychometric Story Writing you have to write a positive story in 6 minutes.

 Interview Passed candidates will be interviewed at designated Centres. Interview Panel of MOD job consisted of 8 members. Two psychological doctors. They will just ask you for your family and educational background.
